Hi Bob,
I'm working as a PI team leader in an international bank and we use lean tools for our process improvement activities.
Pizza game sounds very similar to banner game taht we use for our projects.
Could you give more information about pizza game?
Thanks,

I teach undergraduate Operations Management and am looking for a Lean game I can use in a 75 minute class. Are you familiar with one?

Hello Bob
I would be very interested in further details of the Pizza game and the airport game. I lecture and assess candidates carrying out "Business Improvement Techniques" in Small and Medium size businesses in the UK... and new training ideas are always welcome.
Best regards

Bob,
Can you add me to the list for the VSM Pizza example. I am going to be conducting some training early next month on VSM and this sounds like a great example.

Hi Bob
I am manager for a Company building log houses of thermal insulated timber logs.
We want to follow the Lean principles. Not all our employees are familiar with all the benefits Lean management can give and I have been looking for a simulation model to use in a workshop
Can you please send me a detailed Pizza Game and the airport check-in process you are talking about?

Thanks for all of the interest in this topic. An attempt to contact everyone who replied. If I missed you, please let me know (robert.petruska@schwans.com). The first conference webex is set for Thursday afternoon, and we will cover the Airport checkin process in detail. The second one will be on December 19th at a time yet to be determined. Thanks for your patience. Bob

Bob,
It looks like you are the man in demand. I also would greatly appreciate an email with more detail on how to conduct training with the pizza game. I work in an engineering group and am trying to adapt the lean concepts to knowledge workers.
Thanks, Rick

An extremely simple and quick training activity is to map the process of placing an order at a fast-food drive-in. Most of the steps are non-value added, plus most have had unpleasant experiences at one time or another. The future state can be pretty fun and creative also.
