Bob - There are very few documented activities like this out there, I'm extremely interested in seeing your structure for this. Although you make pizza at the plant, I think the process is something my team could identify with. I'd appreciate if you share the information with me.
Thanks,
Kimberly

Hi Per and all,
Although i've never used the pizza game another great lean simulations is the stickle brick game. I have used it 100's of times to explain lean to people at all business levels. Great for teaching 5s, pull, flow, metrics, leadership etc etc.
You can find it at http://www.hoscatraining.com/p...e_details/jitgame.htm
Its a bit on the pricey side, i tried buying the stickle bricks but thats even harder to get hols of. Its well worth having a look at.
Ian.

Hello All,
Does anyone have a copy of both the VSM simulations and willing to share?
I m supposed to take an interactive training upon VSM next week & the games would really help in identifying the process.
Thanks

Hello People,
I´m in charge of training people in my company on Lean Thinking. Two days ago I was teaching them how to build a VSM and the resources used were (in the simplest and easiest way)
- Air craft Origami:
1 - First, they were asked to fold a paper and make an air craft as they know (those one kids are quite familiar with).
2 - Second, identify all the steps needed to do it.
3 - Third, we set up the line production with the steps they found and then measure time of each process.
4 - Forth, we hang out information about demand and how it flows upstream process.
So that they draw the map to make it simpler to understand and after that do things more difficult ....
Hope this gave you any ideas, beacuse it worked very well here.
My e-mail is cinthya@psitech.com.br in case anyone wants to contact.

Hello Bob,
I sent you a request a few weeks back but it seems it got lost in the network.
Would you mind sending me a copy of the airport simulation and the pizza game too.
I am sure that would go a long way in buying-in by the middle management team.
My email ID is kumarns@timken.com

All,
Please note that this thread is now several years old, and several people who have requested the games mention not receiving them (no doubt because the original posters no longer check a three year old thread).
In order to save people time and frustration requesting such old items, I am locking the thread.
