Does anybody out there have hands on experience with taking and using the Lean toolbox with your supply base? If so,
1. Did you do it with he intention of receiving some tangible cost benefit from the supplier?
2. How did you decide on how you would share the savings with the supplier (if any)?
3. How did you select which suppliers to approach?
4. Did you enter into some type of special agreement with the supplier prior to the event(s)?
If you work for a company with a strong lean/CI program and have not used these tools with your supply base what has been the barrier(s) to do so?
