Strategy Deployment in Action:
One Executive’s Perspective

a free webinar featuring:
David Brule II and Pascal Dennis

In today’s demanding economic climate nothing is more important than focus. Every organization must focus on improving those things that will have the greatest impact on the customer and cash flow.  Strategy Deployment is the system that Toyota developed and still uses to ensure that the entire organization stays focused on its critical few strategic objectives by driving improvement activities at all levels of the organization. From a lean perspective, it ensures that everyone is working to improve things in their “zone” that will directly contribute to achieving the company’s most important objectives.

A growing number of lean enterprises have adopted (and adapted) Strategy Deployment as their primary planning system, including this webinar’s featured company, Northern Star Industries.

David Brule II, Executive Vice President, Director, and Co-Owner will talk about the critical role that Strategy Deployment has played in Northern Star Industry’s 500% growth in revenues and 60% productivity improvement over the last 10 years.

Pascal Dennis, a lean advisor to North American companies and best-selling author of LEI’s Getting the Right Things Done joins David Brule in this frank discussion of the realities and impact of implementing Strategy Deployment at Northern Star Industries.

You'll learn about Northern Star Industries’ Strategy Deployment experience:

  • Why they adopted Strategy Deployment
  • How they selected their strategic improvement focus
  • How they developed deployment leaders/key thinkers
  • The widespread use of the A3 process for catchball and problem solving
  • Their detailed “check” process and how it’s synchronized
  • How it has affected their management style and culture
