Lean Talks(Sunday, March 5th)

Networking Golf Outing with TaylorMade(Sunday, March 5th)
Tee off with fellow lean thinkers at La Costa’s legendary Champions golf course. You will be matched up with other attendees into foursomes. LEI has secured a limited number of tee times for this event, first tee time is at 11 AM.The fee for this network event includes tee time, green fees, prizes, and happy hour after the game. A portion of the golf fee will be donated to a charity.
All golf players will receive a TaylorMade gift bag.

San Diego Zoo Safari Lean Tour(Sunday, March 5th)
The San Diego Zoo Safari Park is a 1800 acre wildlife preserve that houses over 3500 animals representing 260 species. And how do you improve in an environment where feedback cannot be easily communicated? PDCA… Plan, Do, Check, Act.
Attendees will receive a ticket to the park, transportation, and a unique, guided backstage tour of the safari park where you’ll learn how the team is using PDCA to improve how animals are cared for. The tour itself will be 1 hour and 30 minutes, so you will have the rest of the day to visit the park.

Volunteer Activity(Thursday, March 9th)
LEI is partnering with an organization called I Love A Clean San Diego for a coastal clean-up event at Carlsbad State Beach Park.
Shuttle will be provided to and from Omni La Costa to Carlsbad State Beach. Snacks and water will be provided. $50 donation used to help cover cleaning supplies and transportation.
