Hello all,

I'm currently working on the agenda for our annual seminar in late December. We are going to be roughly ten participants, all related to the Operational Excellence fields (Operations director, a kaizen colleague from Toyota, some kaizen facilitators etc.). My BU is specialized in pharmaceutical distribution in Africa (we are a French company).

Do you have any agenda or ideas to share in order to animate this 1 day seminar ?

Here is my draft:
    Arrival
    Opening and welcoming
    Guest Speaker (our Japanese friend)
    Summary of 2017 activities
    Presentation of the 2018 vision

**Break**
A 2 hour visit of a best in class pharmaceutical distributor

**Lunch**
Back to the venue to debrief the morning visit
Brain storming activity regarding different axes of progress

**Break**
    Feedback about 2016 innovative projects
    Presentation of 2017 innovative projects

I would like also to add a little 1h workshop, in order to break the ice, maybe even learn something like hiring a corporate theater for the 1h workshop.

Thanks for your support !

Hello Mark,

And thank you for stepping in.

The seeken outcome is to present our vision for next year, identify some improvement levrages to work on and show to the global division and our Japanes shareholders what we are capable off.

We think that next year a bigger cost reduction department will be open in our global division and we don't want to be left aside. We have expertises that we would like to place in this next year reoganization. That why we want to impress both parties with a great seminar.

Hope it's not too twisted. (I updated the agenda)

Here's a suggestion -
You listed three objectives:

* Present next year's vision.
* Identify improvement leverage to work on.
* Show what we are capable of doing.

Construct a matrix with those objectives vs. your activities.
Fill in how each activity will accomplish, or contribute to, each of your objectives.

That might help you make sure everything is tight and aligned with what you want to accomplish.
