Can we narrow the subject matter down a little bit?

I assume on a lean forum the question is meant to be about favorite lean blogs and websites, or at least operational excellence or other relevant types of sites. (though it would be nice for the original poster to clarify that was the intent)

Ken, are you hoping to narrow down further than that? To sector or specific topic?

Jane,

I was going to make the same assumption, but I can see this going all over the place without at least some indication of intent. That said, let's see where this goes.

For a couple of sites that are more focused on business processes than manufacturing how about trying http://www.shmula.com/ or http://squawkpoint.com/

My intention was Lean websites or blogs. I was recently asked by several employees who are new to lean within my organization. I know the ones I look at - but I am sure there are some excellent sites out there that I am unaware of - so I was trying to get some input from other Lean practioners.

I really like the following as lean specific blogs:

evolvingexcellence.com/blog/

gembapantarei.com

dailykaizen.org

And for more general business perspective that communicates on "lean" ideas often without being explicitly "lean" focused, give this one a look:

matthewemay.com

I really enjoy the following blog;

gembapantarei.com

Jon Miller's blogs are informative, visual and usually have a touch of humor in them.

My favorite site is mwdn, I love their articles, one of the last articles about the types of outsourcing, I advise you to familiarize yourself.

One of my favorite websites is the one I created and manage for my place of employment: Rockford ToolcraftRockford Toolcraft

Not only is it a great place to work, I was fortunate enough to be given this additional responsibility that I enjoy a lot. It gives me an outlet from the normal workload to pursue a more creative outlet.
