Massachusetts-based seafood-restaurant chain Legal Sea Foods is already widely known for its commitment to freshness, and for its award-winning clam chowder that has appeared at every presidential inauguration since 1981. Now it's in the throes of a new mission - to eliminate waste throughout their "Boat to Belly" supply line and become a lean organization.

Legal's efforts have resulted in changes not just on an organizational level, but on a personal level too, for CEO Roger Berkowitz. Watch the video below to hear Berkowitz explain the effects lean has has on his own personal leadership style, plus the culture of Legal Sea Foods as a whole.
