Marie-Pia IgnacePresident, Institut Lean France
After launching one of the first French online banks, Marie-Pia Ignace subsequently developed and deployed the first lean management program at BNP Paribas. Since then, she has conceived and deployed lean management programs for other major European companies, engaging more than 4,000 people in IT, back office, and other services.
Marie-Pia is the co-founder and president of Institut Lean France and CEO of Operae Partners. She also teaches lean management at ParisTech Telecom University in Paris.
She co-authored the first book in French about the practice of lean management in IT, "La Pratique Du Lean Management Dans L’it".
Marie-Pia Ignace is proficient at managing large operations in the service industry. Twelve years after starting her career as a station master at the French railway company, she was running a business unit at Atos Origin, managing 2,800 persons at eight call centers.
