Hoshin Kanri Remotely - Aligning and Executing on Your Organizational Objectives
Join us for a 9-week learning experience where you will sharpen your leadership skills and develop a deeper understanding of hoshin planning (also referred to as strategy deployment). Hoshin is a core process for defining and creating annual objectives and developing people based on those objectives.
A research study published by Harvard Business Review* notes how leaders struggle more with executing strategy than developing it. This class provides a framework for executing strategy by engaging all levels of the organization. Especially when teams are operating remotely, it is critical to ensure alignment to shared objectives.

Using a simulation based on a business case study, you will be able to:
- Understand the relationship of hoshin planning (which functions like the skeleton) to A3 problem solving (which functions like the muscle).
- Discuss the fundamental framework for hoshin kanri.
- Clarify conditions for successful execution of hoshin planning and alignment in an organization.
- Develop an initial plan to implement hoshin kanri in your own organization.
- Discuss how to build a structure of PDCA at individual and corporate levels.
As a society we have learned to connect with each other online. Live e-learning provides the same opportunity. Avoid travel and maximize peer learning as well as instructor time in an online environment that helps you to breakdown strategic planning using hoshin kanri. By attending this remote workshop, you will be led by a senior coach one step at a time, allowing you the space & time you need to reflect and apply the learning along the way.
The nine sessions are hosted over nine weeks with one to two hours of assignments in between. There are two upcoming sessions available. The next session starts on July 20th. After that, a session starts on September 14th. Register for one now!
