Learn how to manage operations so functional and frontline teams work on the right improvement efforts at the right time to strategically achieve performance targets that will help your organization meet its business objectives. Choose one or both.
In the first workshop, you’ll focus on managing frontline teams as they do and improve their work processes using and integrating various lean practices and concepts, such as standardized work, pull system, kanban, and employee capability development. You’ll also experience lean coaching and guidance techniques, such as asking appropriate questions and showing respect when challenging team members to improve their work processes.
In the second, you’ll learn how to use value-stream mapping to strategically plan continuous improvement efforts across product-focused value streams, helping you ensure you achieve substantial and sustainable impact on quality, costs, time to market, and other performance factors that are critical to customers and your company’s success.

- Execute the value-stream mapping process.
- Explain why VSM is integral to lean thinking and practice.
- Gain a better understanding of the linkages between material and information flow.
- Establish a direction for your improvement efforts with an understanding of the relationship between process improvement and system improvement to help you meet your customers’ needs while achieving your business performance objectives.
- Establish the basis for an effective lean implementation plan using key principles to design how your factory’s door-to-door material and information flow could ideally operate.
- Give your team an understanding of the need for a common language and processes to collaborate on continuous improvement.

Cancellation Policy
