In this learning session, Scott Heydon and John Shook will explore: an alternate management system or style, that is neither Tell / Direct (“do what I say”) nor is it Casual Empowerment (“I don’t care how, just hit your numbers”).
They will focus on two critical learning points:
- Understanding a new leadership style that supports problem-solving responsibility without simply giving away authority.
- Grasping the differences between authority-based leadership and responsibility-based leadership.
You’ll leave enabled to think differently about how you as a leader or coach can first experiment with this?different leadership approach yourself and then how you can engage your organization more broadly.
