Masia Goodman

Instructional Designer, Lean Enterprise Institute

Masia Goodman is an Instructional Designer at the Lean Enterprise Institute (LEI), with an extensive background in educating learners across all age groups. Her foray into education began in 2000, initially as a high school teacher in French and Comparative World Religion. Masia embarked on her lean journey in 2006 when she first joined LEI. There, she was instrumental in forming the Lean Global Network. After a hiatus to spend time with her young children, she rejoined LEI in 2016. A life-long learner, she earned her Master of Education in eLearning and Instructional Design in 2019, a timely achievement given the global shift towards remote education. A significant aspect of Masia’s learning journey has been through trial, error, failure, and curiosity, which has contributed to her versatile and innovative approach in education. Her dedication to developing engaging and practical online lean learning experiences is evident through her work.

In her free time, she embraces an active lifestyle with her family, often found practicing yoga or hiking in New Hampshire’s mountains, and spending time with her puppy.
