Laura Mottola is founder of Flow Partners, now part of the BBA Group (www.bba.ca) a Canadian engineering consulting firm and the Director of Digital Transformation. She is recognized globally as a leader in Lean Mining®, Operational Excellence and Lean Transformation in the natural resource sector. Laura is a mining engineer with a Masters of Engineering in Mining Automation from McGill University. A seasoned professional and business leader with more than 25 years of global experience across industries, Laura was named one of 100 most inspirational women in mining by Women in Mining UK (2013).
Laura is dedicated to Lean Thinking and practice, innovation, and the integration of systems thinking, circular economy, and other concepts to develop multidisciplinary approaches and strategies to solving complex problems. She is part of the Lean Enterprise Institute’s faculty, regularly teaching Hoshin Kanri. She is passionate about creating value, increasing productivity, and improving social and environmental responsibility and teamwork in organizations. Laura brings the multidimensional leadership and vision needed to generate dynamic and diverse opportunities in across industry sectors.
